Hurmet Ilus is a DJ & producer born in Estonia. In his early life he was a solo singer and played different instruments. When Hurmet heard the first four tacts of electronic music in his life he was sure that this was love at first wave. He has been playing records since 2005. With multilayered sounds, darker basslines and pure melodic waves, he generates beautiful crossovers from deep house to proper techno.
Hurmet has shared the stage with Danny Howells, Super Flu, Nakadia, Ale Castro, Namito, Frank Muller and many more. He has been playing at clubs and festivals all over Estonia. Moreover, he has played in Latvia, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Norway, Thailand, Cambodia, Spain, Argentina and Peru.
He is the owner and manager of one of Estonias biggest deep and progressive house music event series called Still Out and he is also hosting Still Out radio show at Raadio 2. The crowd quickly follows his vigorous performance and rhythm and loses themselves in the fruitful atmosphere. Hurmet states that without music he would just be a dark spot in our universe.
